Advanced Notice Processing is a three-day City & Guilds Assured training programme for parking staff in England and Wales who have completed initial Notice Processing training, taking a deeper look at the full Penalty Charge Notice life cycle, adjudication results and high-level test cases.

Who is this course for?

Parking staff in England and Wales who have completed our initial City & Guilds Assured Notice Processing training and want a more detailed understanding of the parking environment.

What the course covers

One intensive module over three days

Legislation, statutory instruments and the Secretary of State’s Guidance; Traffic Orders: how to use them, what they contain and the different types; signs and lines and the impact of the TSRGD; the full life cycle of the Penalty Charge Notice; the quality of evidence and the different types; adjudication, results and test cases.

How it is delivered

Online in a live, virtual setting, delivered over three consecutive days by a trainer with more than 20 years of industry experience.

Assessment and certification

On the final day, delegates sit a City & Guilds Assured multiple-choice examination. Everyone who passes receives a City & Guilds Assured e-certificate plus a shareable digital credential. Paper certificates are available on request.

What delegates take away

A deeper understanding of current parking legislation, traffic orders, signs and lines, and the different stages of processing a Penalty Charge Notice issued under the Traffic Management Act.
