Anyone starting a career as a Civil Enforcement Officer, and current parking staff working within the sector, in both public and private parking operations across England and Wales.
What the course covers
Module 1: Conflict Management for Civil Enforcement Officers
Current Health & Safety legislation, dynamic risk assessment, communication and blocks to communication, levels and signs of aggression, the effects of workplace violence, and the law regarding self-defence.
Module 2: Roles & Responsibilities of a Civil Enforcement Officer
The key issues that influence enforcement, background knowledge of parking enforcement, and a history of parking legislation and how it is enforced.
How it is delivered
Online in a live, virtual setting, or in a classroom at a suitable venue provided by you. Delivered over four consecutive days by a trainer with over 20 years of experience in the parking industry.
Assessment and certification
On the final day, delegates sit two City & Guilds Assured multiple-choice examinations. Everyone who passes receives a City & Guilds Assured e-certificate plus a digital credential they can share on social media and email signatures. Paper certificates are available on request.
