Alpha Parking Ltd, the largest independent UK parking training provider, and City and Guilds, the internationally recognised awarding body, have formed a partnership to provide a suite of accredited parking qualifications that can easily be recognised and benchmarked throughout the country.
This unique agreement between Alpha Parking Ltd and City and Guilds will continue to provide the core Qualification Credit Framework (QCF) and Ofqual recognised qualifications for Civil Enforcement Officers (Level 2) and Notice Processors (Level 3). Additionally, it will offer City and Guilds assessed parking qualifications in specific areas such as Parking Supervisor and Team Leader training and Traffic Orders for the Parking Department. The partnership will provide parking professionals with the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills as they progress in the industry.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to develop further high quality, specialist parking training for local authorities and the other industry sectors” said Penny Winder, Director of Alpha Parking Ltd. “We are delighted to be in partnership with City and Guilds and look forward with great enthusiasm to developing parking training with them and with the parking industry”.
City and Guilds are equally committed with Yolanda Peck, Senior Business Manger at City and Guilds saying;
“We are very pleased now to be working with Alpha Parking who can bring to the partnership both the parking specialist knowledge and the training expertise. Alpha Parking have been a City and Guilds training centre for nearly a decade so we know they are fully committed to providing high quality training and assessment services to all public and private sector parking suppliers. Specifically, City and Guilds has been supporting Local Authorities’ workforce development strategies for many years, across all occupational sectors, and parking remains high on our agenda.”
