A Traffic Order or Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) - is the legal document necessary to support any enforceable traffic or highway restriction, such as a parking space. Under the Governmentís new statutory guidance on civil parking enforcement, all traffic signs and road markings must be in compliance with legal requirements and must match the respective TROs in every detail.

Since failure to correctly structure and update Traffic Orders could invalidate a local authorityís Penalty Charge Notices (PCN), drafting and maintaining them is a very important element of the advice we offer.

Alpha Parkingís professional staff have built up years of experience in advising clients on TROs and street assets. We apply leading edge software such as ParkMap to design new parking schemes and manage and display Traffic Orders. We also supply training in this area to local councils.
