Alpha Parking and The Synergy Group join forces to offer a route into parking
Parking recruitment company Synergy has teamed up with parking training provider Alpha Parking to offer an innovative solution to parking recruitment.
Through the Kickstart programme, the companies are blending recruitment and training to enable local authorities and private companies to attract, assess and train entry level employees as a cost effective alternative to using agency staff. With increasing budgetary pressures on public sector departments combined with an increased workload in many departments, there is a clear need for a recruitment solution which is both cost-effective and provides staff who hit the ground running.
Kickstart targets individuals who have the right competencies to perform the role, but not necessarily the process or systems experience that is often required. Through the intensive training programme provided by Alpha Parking, candidates are equipped with skills specific to their role, including City and Guilds accredited training, enabling them to get up to speed quickly and deliver a return on investment almost immediately.
“During the last decade, through 203 Kickstart programmes, 3500 individuals have been successfully trained and placed in employment with our clients throughout the UK in industries such as banking, social care and IT” says Synergy Group Consultant, Andrew Mant. “The parking sector will benefit from such a scheme as it ensures that there is a sufficient pool of well trained and enthusiastic parking staff to meet the demands of the industry”.
