Who owns Alpha Parking?
Alpha is wholly independent and therefore not allied to any particular car park management group
What does Alpha contribute to the parking industry?
As well as advising its own clients, Alpha Parking staff take an active role in industry bodies such as the British Parking Association and Institute of Parking Professionals. We are also regular contributors to professional transport publications such as Surveyor, Parking News and Parking Review
Why the emphasis on training?
By recommending that all Civil Enforcement Officers achieve minimum standards through recognised training courses, the Secretary of State for Transport aims to improve not just the status and quality of staff but also their self-esteem, job satisfaction and career prospects. Needless to say, it is a move we support wholeheartedly.
Does Alpha Parking only work for local authorities?
The nature of parking enforcement in England and Wales means that much of our work is for local councils, but we also work closely with developers, airports, shopping centres and railway operators to make the most of their parking facilities and advise private companies on staff travel plans. |

Are you able to advise members of the public in disputes over penalty charge notices?
Unfortunately, we cannot intervene in individual disputes. There are specialist organisations that can help: NPAS (the National Parking Adjudication Service) and the Parking and Traffic Appeals Service (covering London only). |
