ParkMap is an electronic computer based filing system, or database, for storing Traffic Order data and displaying the traffic restrictions on a map of the local authority area.

It has become the industry standard software for making and recording traffic orders but is a detailed and exacting tool requiring time, knowledge and standardised procedures to implement the ParkMap system and to maintain an acceptable quality of output.
