ParkMap:

ParkMap is a MapInfo based software application used to draft new parking schemes and ensure that road markings and other details match the Traffic Orders (TROs) that support them.

The courses have been designed to enable local authority staff to keep an accurate record of all TROs and their associated documentation, provide a visual display of all related restrictions, help parking departments become more efficient in maintaining records and provide more timely and accurate information in response to appeals.

Our 2-day Introduction to ParkMap provides a sound background understanding of the software package and gives candidates the skills necessary to input, edit and create reports on the data held in the database.

The advanced ParkMap course covers the tools and procedures necessary to maintain the traffic order database, keep an audit trail of TRO amendments, revocations and suspensions, design new parking schemes and create the new TROs necessary to those schemes should they be adopted.
