We have advised East Sussex County Council on CPE implementation in Lewes and Eastbourne, providing guidance on all aspects of its schemes.

We also supported Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council with the introduction of CPE.

We approach the design of a CPZ with the enforcement practicalities in mind and put forward schemes that are practical, efficient to patrol, minimize sign clutter and encourage self-enforcement. Within the latest Government guidance, the emphasis is very much on compliance rather than revenue generation and councils must ensure that parking charges are fair and reflect the need for traffic restraint. We have set up an extensive database of charges from around the country, which we use to informally benchmark and justify our recommendations for parking charges in any scheme we design.

Did you know that CPZs are not always an essential element of successful parking enforcement? We advise councils on alternative measures where appropriate.

If required we offer a ìone stopî solution covering every aspect of the CPZ including review and adjustment and development of traffic orders (TROs) and data maintenance.
